Wang Yuyang was born in the Heilongjiang province, China, in 1979. He graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts with an MA in 2008 and currently teaches in the Experimental Art department of the same school. Wang Yuyang questions the experience of technology – that is, our interactions with the digital and the robotic – while utilizing everyday objects to create the illusion of futurism.
Wang Yuyang’s work was the subject of the solo show “One Painting,” CAFA Art Museum, Beijing, China (2009).
