In 2015, the gallery hosted Shi Jinsong's Art Fair: Free Download, a solo exhibition for artist Shi Jinsong where instructions on how to recreate the artwork on display could be downloaded for free online The artist statement for the project, which radically challenges intellectual property rights, can be found to the right.
"We believe it is absurd that one can appropriate the property of a collective imagination--grounded in human civilization--for themselves and claim it to be their own intellectual property. As such, we will systematically convert the work of our own artistic thoughts-on-life into illustrations and display them on our website. By doing so, people can access these “Free Downloads,” share our works collectively, and begin their own DIY art project. Those who share our philosophies are warmly welcomed to join us and participate."
